Our House

A family table, opened to the city.

Armila's started the way most good restaurants do, around a family table. We grew up with the smell of saffron rice on Friday afternoons, naan still warm from the tandoor, and a house that was always one guest short of full. When we opened our doors on Rymal Road, we wanted Hamilton to feel that same thing.

We are proud to be Hamilton's first authentic Afghan restaurant and lounge. Every plate that leaves our 100% halal kitchen carries a recipe from home. The flame on the grill, the slow stew of nihari, the dough rolled out for bolani, the cardamom in the tea. We cook the way we always have, in a room built for long evenings and easy company.

Yes. We are open every night until at least 1 AM, and until 2 AM Thursday through Saturday. The kitchen closes one hour prior to closing time. There is a $20 minimum spend per person and a 2.5 hour maximum seating time per table.
